Course Description

The course aims to contribute to the students' knowledge on issues related to the science of cabbage growing in general and more specifically to introduce them to the importance of the quality and nutritional value of vegetables, the most important cabbage plants for Greek and global agriculture, the basic elements of their anatomy, morphology and physiology, the abiotic and biotic factors that affect plant production and the interactions between these factors and the plants, the ways of scientific and scientific research on the quality of vegetables and their nutritional value.
