Course Description

The course covers the management of animal pests of fruit trees and vines. The course covers the study of the biology and ecology of the main insect pests of these crops, as well as the most important mites, nematodes and other animal pests. A description of the symptoms of infestation is given, providing information on the biological characteristics and natural enemies of the insect pests and the appropriate ways of dealing with them. The course aims to help students understand the severity of crop infestations and the potential of each of the individual control methods offered.
