Course Description

The course aims to enable students to understand the modern production process of (a) the most important aromatic-medicinal plants of large-scale cultivation (yarrow, valerian, St. John's wort, basil, aniseed, licorice, laurel of Apollo, rosemary, dittany, spearmint, thyme, thyme, capers, coriander, saffron, lavender, hops, marjoram, marjoram, fennel, meadowsweet, mint, oregano, mountain tea, sage, chamomile) as well as plants with medicinal properties (aloe, stevia, aloe vera), (b) industrial plants such as fibre plants (cotton, flax, flax, hemp), beet, tobacco, and oil plants (sunflower, rape, sesame).
