Course Description

This course is a study of the biology and ecology of beneficial insects, natural enemies of harmful insects of crops and productive insects. The elements of biology and ecology of beneficial and productive insects and the ways and possibilities of their utilization are discussed. The course aims to enable students to understand the importance of beneficial insects (parasitoids and predators) in the biological control of crop pests, as well as how to breed productive insects (bees and silkworms).
