Course Description

The course is designed to provide the student with the necessary knowledge and experience about integration, partial differentiation, dynamical systems and difference equations. Also the basic concepts of Databases (DB) and Database Management Systems (DBMS). The field of Agronomy deals with a large amount of crop, meteorological and soil data, which need to be stored, managed/processed/analysed with Databases to produce the right information to make the right decisions. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to understand concepts such as data, information, entities, fields, correlations, distinguish the architecture of DBs with the basic data models (hierarchical, network, relational, object-oriented, design Relational Databases (S. B.D.) using the model of association entities, create, use and manage B.D. using tables, queries, forms, reports, macros and modules and make appropriate decisions for crop management with economic and environmental benefit.
