Course Description

The course aims to familiarize students with the internal anatomical structure of the plant body, the external morphology and the reproductive modes of plant organisms with emphasis on cultivated plants. On completion of the course, each student will have achieved basic knowledge concerning the understanding of the structure and functions of the plant cell, basic knowledge of the structure and growth of the plant body, basic knowledge of the adaptations of plant growth and development to the effects of internal and external factors. Finally, upon completion of the course, students will be able to identify plant organs, classify plants into groups and have the ability to prepare and observe a plant microscopic preparation.
