Course Description

The course aims to introduce students to the principles of mechanics, internal combustion engines and the work that can be produced by the agricultural tractor, its use and the machinery that the tractor can support. Mechanical concepts are explained such as, engine elements, connecting bolts, roller bolts, transmission elements, shafts, spindles, spindles ,bearings , lubrication and its substances, law of ideal gases, elements of thermodynamics, internal combustion engines (gasoline engines - diesel engines), Electric motors, types of electric motors, principles of operation, types of agricultural tractors (uniaxial - biaxial), power transmission system in agricultural tractors (clutch - gearbox - differential - semi-axles - final drives - wheels - R.  hydraulic suspension of the agricultural tractor) and safety, hygiene and environmental protection.
