The postgraduate studies of the Department are mainly based on:
- the physiognomy and the mission of the Department in the field of higher education and in the region of Messinia and the Peloponnese,
- the possibilities that its resources provide for their successful realization,
- the need to update the teaching with modern scientific data that will be produced during the realization of these MSc courses,
- the need to achieve the Department's objective of expanding its research activities and collaborations at national and international level; and
- the need to carry out research work in cooperation with the Peloponnese Region and productive bodies of the region in order to solve local problems.
