The Department of Agriculture provides scientists with the opportunity to carry out Postdoctoral Research (M.D.) in areas that fall within the research interests and/or the cognitive subjects of its Departments, in accordance with the current legislation and the applicable provisions. THE M.E. has the following main objectives:
a) to extend the results of the doctoral theses of the researchers to new scientific directions,
b) to develop new research areas related to the scientific areas of the researchers' theses,
c) to contribute to the approach of specific research problems,
d) to strengthen scientists capable of contributing to the progress of science, research and applications,
e) to enhance the academic prestige and international recognition of the research work of the Department and the University of the Peloponnese
