The dominant philosophy of the Department is the interconnection with the production of the primary sector, through collaborations and actions and extroversion at local, national and international level. It seeks cooperation with private and public sector institutions in order to ensure continuous feedback of its curriculum with knowledge and concerns of the real economy, preparing students for their professional careers. During the last 3 years, the Department of Agriculture has participated in national and European projects as a coordinator or as a partner in cooperation with universities and institutions in Greece and abroad.
